So after a grueling two day closing (which I will spare you the details), we are finally in our new home in Wheaton!! It is so fun and I am loving every second...even the lengthly commute.
So with picture to come soon, here is an update of our progress:
1. Painted the living room/dining room
2. Primed most of the kitchen including pulling down the grapevine border.
3. Painted the front door and primed the side panels
4. Unpacked the entire kitchen
5. Hung drapes in the living room/dining room
6. Arranged furniture to make a cozy main room
I might have to take a day off from painting as I have a "witch hand" from gripping the roller for so long. Kind of like that time I taught myself how to knit and I couldn't extend my fingers for like a week.
Jeff even got a basketball and shot some hoops over the weekend...I ran errands in less than an hour...ahhh, I love the "burbs!!"

yippee! your home in the suburbs! sounds like so much work, but so worth it and the best part is that you get to paint/decorate however YOU want. have fun with it :)
