On Saturday, Jeff and I decided to go for a long walk. It was beautiful outside and we were ready to take full advantage. So, we headed in the direction of Andersonville to check out Midsommarfest (see info below):
A celebration of the neighborhood's Swedish heritage includes more than meatballs. Get a variety of international foods from local eateries, browse arts and crafts, watch a pet parade and rock out to four stages of live music and dancing.
Once we worked our way through the streets and vendors, we headed to the Lake. It was packed, so we sat down briefly and enjoyed some top notch people watching before heading back. Once we made it back to Jeff's, we googled just how long we trucked through the city...wait for it, wait for it....TEN MILES!!!
