Jeff and I recently went down to visit his mom and dad in South Padre Island, TX. They have a beautiful home there right on the water so we all watched the sunset at night...ahhh.
I caught a couple of fish, which is absolutely thrilling!! Those little guys are strong. I have a new respect for this sport. My first fish was 17" which was very exciting. That guy was DINNER!! Oh he was tasty. I caught a few of his cousins too, however gramps got away from me...next time gramps...I'll find you next time!
I have decided the secret to good skin is something in the air down there. I didn't even take moisturizer and my skin was as soft as a babies...well you know. However, my exciting day of fishing with overcast skies/turn sunny skies left me with quite the BURN!!!! You would think that I was on the equator. No seriously, like I was literally laying ON the equator. I am happy to report that I have since healed and have vowed to not let that happen again.
